First of all, was today not the craziest Yard Sale ever?! We had so many shoppers (some of whom I saw in line more than once). Despite the weather, and the Super Bowl preparations, we had an amazing turnout today, with a line forming before we even opened. The customers were friendly, the deals were amazing... What else could you ask for (besides some sunshine)?
On another note, we've been madly putting new products into the system to get them on the shelf for you. We're working as fast as we can, but are still a little bogged down with boxes (did you see the piles in the back of the store?). No worries - we'll get them out as quickly as we can this week.
Washi tape lovers will be delighted to know we have a new batch of tapes from more than one brand. There are even more on the way, but we have the My Mind's Eye and Glitz tapes in (love them all). On the subject of washi tape, you have to see this amazing little 'washi reference book' our customer, Nicole, put together! She used a little index card flip book from Office Max, and stuck a sample of her collections on the pages (color-coordinated, of course). Thanks for the idea, Nicole!
Before I forget, I want to follow up on our Weekend Crop. Last weekend was a blast - our customers got tons of layouts and projects done (the proof was in the number of tickets in the drawing bags). We gave away tons of prizes, had some yummy food (even a taco bar on Saturday and french toast on Sunday morning), and scrapped the weekend away. Looking forward to the next one in April, ladies!
