Here it comes!

Ok everyone, the boxes are beginning to pile up! It's like Christmas when the delivery trucks roll in - you should see us looking at labels just as a child would look for their name on the present (only we're looking at who it's from, not to). So far this week, we've received Daisy D's new Wonder Years line (very fun), new Sticko themes, the new Easter line from Flair Designs, some gorgeous new fabric albums, and some new themed paper & die cuts from Paper House. Cardmakers - you'll love the new Prism shimmery cardstock line we just got today - over 20 colors! I know many of you have been anticipating the arrival of Deja View's new line, Zach's Life - well, wait no longer! Boy papers galore!

Plus, we finally got all the new American Crafts out (well, most of it) on the shelves (and spinners, and racks). It's all so fun, especially all of the scalloped papers! I've also just received confirmation that our 7 Gypsies order has shipped! I'll let you know when it arrives!
Sorry for the wonky layout (that's such a funny word!), but I'm still getting the hang of this program. :)

New Product Update

The new products (some from CHA and some pre-CHA) are beginning to arrive. This week we received Pink Paislee (adorable!) and the new Circus Baby line from Scribble Scrabble. We also have all 6 new releases from Reminisce in stock: My Jungle Safari, Graduation Celebration, Coastal Treasures, Dance Studio, It's All Relative, and Tropical Elements. American Crafts will be arriving this upcoming week, as will Daisy D's new lines. I'll keep you posted as they arrive!

Remember - there's only one week left to save on our featured manufacturer for February: Autumn Leaves. All AL products are 15% off through the end of the month!

Another CHA Pic

I'm still waiting for a few pictures from someone else's camera (hint hint Wendy) from CHA, but here's a good one in the meantime. It's a photo of us with Jenny & Jared Bowlin. Because it was their first CHA, they had to exhibit in the basement with the other new exhibitors and miss all the excitement upstairs on the main floor. They are so pleasant to talk to... it was nice to meet them.

Design Team Update

For those who have been asking about our Design Team Search, I have an update. I had originally planned on posting the entries before our trip for customers to view (and help us decide). But after a tiring trip home, and being under the weather since I got back, it hasn't gone as planned. So I've tentatively extended the deadline for entries until this weekend, and will make a decision after that. So if you found out about the contest later, and would still like to enter, get working!

Back from CA and blogging!

Well, here it goes. I joke about how I blogged before blogging was what it is now. In the 90s it was just a website. But with it being so mainstream now, I am going to give this a go for Scrappy Chic. So welcome to our blog!

We just got back from CHA in Anaheim, CA, and our heads are full of ideas. Not only is CHA the place we go to make purchasing decisions for the next few months, but it fuels our creativity and inspires us! While I was choosing paper, embellishments and more, I was thinking about which of you would like them most. As Wendy did make & takes with new products being released, she was getting great new class ideas. I will try to keep you all up-to-date on new products as they arive... if not here then in the newsletter, which comes out twice a month.

Welcome aboard and I hope to see you soon!
