Classes Galore

We've got so many cool classes on our calendar these days!  I tell ya - these girls are crankin' out the amazing crafty ideas!  The calendar for September is filling up and I wanted to highlight one class that didn't make it into the newsletter.  Here's some info on Jane's next card class:

Monday, 9/17, 5-8p, $20

A Whole (Dozen) in One Card Class

Participants will make a dozen cards in an assortment (2 each of six patterns) and a carrying tote! These make awesome gifts (or keep them for yourself).

Please bring: 12" paper trimmer, pencil, adhesives (double-sided tape and high tack recommended), scissors and glue dots.  Optional: brown ink pad, paper piercing tool or needle for brads.

Drawing and a Freebie, Anyone?

We have a couple offers for you in the store...  First off, we have a very cool magazine from Prima Marketing that you can take home free with any $10 Prima purchase (did you see the new stuff that just came in, by the way?  Shouldn't be too hard).  The magazine has tons of project ideas in it, as well as some free paper samples and a special offer.  This offer is valid while supplies last.

Second item of business...  How about a drawing?!  We haven't done one in a while, so let's give it a go.  We'd like to give away a FREE Crop Plus (Friday crop) for one lucky winner and three of their friends - yes, a Friday crop for 4!  Here's how:  For every $25 you spend on merchandise (before tax, in one transaction), you'll receive an entry to the drawing.  Entries will be accepted now through August 30th at close.  We'll draw the winner on 8/31/12 - it could be YOU!

Lawn Fawn, Carta Bella and More!

I'm very excited about what I saw on the counter today! We just received the newest stamps (and papers, oh yeah) from Lawn Fawn! They're adorable, to say the least. We also received a new Stamping magazine from Northridge Media (good pairing, right?). Next up, we have the latest from Carta Bella - All Hallow's Eve and Alphabet Junction. Last but not least, we have three new lines from Simple Stories - Handmade Holiday, Take a Hike and Harvest Lane. I think there's something for everyone!

Wrapping up the Week

The rest of the new goods that came in this week are almost all out (yes, there was so much it took longer than we planned).  Here's what's in store now...
  • Queen & Company - a full line of new Trendy (Washi) tapes and Goosebumps (bling)
  • New tools and albums from We R Memory Keepers - love the new Retrospect 6x6 Albums!
  • Zva - new bling in fun shapes and cool colors
  • Bazzill - two new collections, Timeless and Beach House
I can't wait to see what next week brings!

My new favorite!

I admit it - I'm hooked! Washi tape is the most fabulous new product on the market! I bought a few rolls, but wasn't quite sure what to do with them so I stashed them away. Sound familiar? I'm as guilty as everyone else; I buy and bury. So I decided it was time to try something new - and once I started playing with washi tape, I couldn't stop! I made borders and photo mats, pennants and flags, popsicles and frames. I ended up creating a quick, easy class using bright blue, green and orange tape to make 4 cheery, summer 12 x 12 pages (join me for this fun class on Wed. Aug. 29th from 6-9pm). But I couldn't stop there! There are so many great prints available that I created a second class - using Disney themed washi tape. If you're a Disney fan, or just want to play with this great new product, join me on Wed. Sept. 26th from 6-9pm for the Disney themed class. Give it a try, you'll love washi tape, too. It's inexpensive (as little as $2.99/roll), easy to use (just tear or cut it), and one of the most versatile product on the market! And Scrappy Chic just received a huge shipment of new designs including Halloween and Christmas. Hurry in, they won't last long!
