More New Arrivals...

We've received so much over the course of this week, we're having a hard time keeping up with it! We have new border punches from EK Success, more stamp sets from Inkadinkadoo, and the new En Route travel line from SEI (one of my favorites from CHA).

Surprise! We got Jillibean Soup!

I wasn't planning on ordering from this company, but based on your requests, we got it! It is very cute, I must admit. There are a few different color themes, and some adorable Kraft papers and products. You'll have to check it out when you're in next - it'll be hanging out in front for at least a couple days on the endcaps.

Prima Promotion

I have another promotion to tell you about... Here's the scoop from Prima! We'll have the flyer available in-store, or you can click on the image to see it in full size.

Making Memories Slice VIP Promo

Since we're a VIP retailer for Making Memories, we are able to offer a new promotion just in time for Mother's Day! If you purchase a Slice machine from Scrappy Chic, you'll receive a FREE Slice Design Card! The Seasons design card is currently only available through this rebate program, and it's loaded with useful shapes to cut!

Also, for those of you who already have a Slice, have you registered yours with Making Memories? If you have, you should be receiving a calibration card in the mail to 'tune up' your machine. If you haven't received yours, or haven't registered, you may bring in your Slice machine for a free tune-up (with any purchase). The new Design Cards should be arriving soon, and we'll keep you posted on those as they arrive!

New from Tattered Angels

We just received a shipment of new Tattered Angels products! We have the new screens, stamps, kits, albums and chipboard alphabet shapes. I have to note that they're selling fast today, ever since they came out of the box. But I promise to order more when they're gone.

Zinnia from Little Yellow Bicycle is in

I'm not normally a fan of green and purple, but it seems to be a popular pair this Spring, so it's growing on me (no pun intended). We will also be carrying this line at Mega Meet, but have it in stock for you to choose from before we take it on the road.

Graduation Cards, anyone?

We welcome back Janine Tinklenberg with her Graduation Card class on Sat 5/16 at 2pm. Join her and create 4 amazing cards you can use for congratulations, invitations, announcements, there's even a gift card holder! We're working on the class of the cost, which will be up by the beginning of the week, but we wanted to give you a sneak peek since the cards are going to be so darn cute! You'll be able to sign up for the class beginning Monday.

Ranger Alcohol Ink Pens are here!

If you haven't already run out the door on your way here, I'll tell you more. We received our first shipment of the pens (I already have another order placed in anticipation since half of our first order was already spoken for). These cool pens work with alcohol ink, keeping the ink moist within the core for long-lasting use. You can use them to color, blend and more on so many different surfaces. Hailey will be teaching a new alcohol ink class soon using the new blender pens, so stay tuned for that.

Now, if you're still reading... please watch your step when you come into the store this week. We don't want anyone to trip over the million boxes we have in the front of the store! It reminds me of when we first opened the store and were receiving huge shipments daily. Our Mega Meet orders, as well as some new inventory, are arriving with a presence. 30 boxes from Clip it Up take up more space than you'd think. And because it's Earth Day, I'll take this opportunity to remind everyone that if you ever need cardboard boxes for packing, moving, or anything else... please let us know - we always have empties you can take.

Making Memories Wedding and Somerset

We received all things beautiful today. Making Memories' new Wedding line came in, and we're working on getting that all in tonight. We already have the Wedding Design Card for the Slice Machine - very beautiful!

We also received some new publications from Somerset. The Art of Paper and Mixed Media is in from Somerset Studio, and we also have the new Artful Blogging and Where Women Create issues (love that one).

Earth Day is Wednesday 4/22

We've got something green planned for Earth Day. Bring in your own reusable shopping bag this Wednesday, and we'll recycle back 5% of your regular price purchases to you! That's an extra 5% in addition to your loyalty rewards! Using less plastic bags is just one way we can help keep our planet green.

A Day Away

The sun will come out tomorrow, right? Actually, Mary and I were away for the day in Lansing at an event put on by EK Success and our distributors in Michigan. Although it was a long day, we enjoyed doing some make & takes, checking out interesting products and had some amazing lunch & dinner at the hotel! We also won some great prizes to bring back. Who knows... maybe some will end up as prizes for this weekend!

There are still a few seats available for the weekend crop, so if you're thinking about it last-minute (which is now, don't be afraid), give us a call to sign up! The prizes are amazing, the company is creative, the food is fantastic, and the hours to crop are plentiful! See you there...

Transatlantique is finally here!

Yes, it took forever, but it's here. The newest line from Graphic 45 doesn't disappoint! It's flying off the shelves already.

We also received our new paper and stickers from Webster's Pages, and these florals are gorgeous! The pages look like a garden, so spring. Some of the stickers sold out the first day, but there are plenty more to choose from.

... Fancy Pants books, too!

I mentioned there were some other boxes unopened... Fancy Pants was one of them! Not only do we have the two new lines, Summer Soiree and On a Whimsy (my favorite), but the Mixed Media 8x8 books! There are a lot of you who have been patiently waiting for the books... wait no longer! Those on the wish list will get a call from us first, and the rest are up for grabs.

By the way, after we put out all of the Basic Grey, we realized we did receive some of the Bling it On and Mini Stamp sets - all adorable and only $1.79 each!

Guess what's here...

It's the new Basic Grey! Woo hoo - it's going out on the shelves as I speak (type). Both Lime Rickey and Wisteria have arrived, and they are both amazing in their own way. Lime Rickey is everything colorful and bright, and named after cocktails (how fun). Wisteria (I keep wanting to add Lane after that) is beautiful in its soft greens and purples. We have papers, rub-ons, stickers, collection packs and, yes, the card kits (with envelopes).

New from Crate Paper and Creative Imaginations!

We received several new things yesterday, including the new paper kits from Crate Paper - adorable!!! There are three new lines, Little Sprout (very earthy and cute), Lillian (perfect for Spring) and the Orbit collection (I'll be using this for Jake's pictures, I'm sure).

We also received several new papers from Creative Imaginations. Some of the themes are wedding, Disney (very sparkly), some are die cut and more! There were a couple more boxes I hadn't looked into yet, so I'll keep you posted when we open them!

We received more new paper and embellishments from Anna Griffin today. This line is rich in color just as much as texture! I couldn't find an image to post of the products, but this catalog cover says it all. Be sure to check it out next time you're in!

I'm planning our festivities for National Scrapbooking Day, and I'm so excited about what we'll be offering! Once we finalize our orders and projects, I'll be posting more information here and in our next newsletter. You're going to love what's in store!
