Did you know that Brenda Walton is designing dies and embossing folders for Sizzix?  The products are just as beautiful as the packaging...  They're worth a look-see next time you're in - love 'em!

Fancy Pants - Monthly Challenge

Hello fellow crafters. Today I'm showcasing a fun little layout using Fancy Pants paper line. This paper is from the collection called Hopscotch. It is perfect for little girl pages or for bright spring pages.
If you're new to Scrappy Chic (Livonia) and/or have never participated in the monthly challenge I highly encourage you to do so. It is simple just make a project using the themed manufacturer. This month it just  happens to be Fancy Pants. If you haven't been to the store lately you really should. Lots of yummy fun new stuff.

I don't normally scrapbook orange but when I saw this adorable paper I knew instantly what I wanted to make. I bought my daughter an orange colored dress for Easter and this paper is perfect for it.

I started with a 12x12 sheet of  butternut for the base. I then used the jump rope for the pink/and stripes. I used a simple punch to make a little decorative edge across the top - it is the puddle paper out of the collection.

I cut the words Bunny hop and 2013 using my Cricut.

I typed up the journal information and printed it out on vellum.

The little eggs are an eyelet from Eyelet Outlet -- yes, Scrappy Chic carries brads/eyelets from them :)

KaiserCraft, Authentique and more!

Wow, we are trying our best to find room for all of the new goods coming in...  We have several new lines from KaiserCraft - Lulu & Roy, In the Attic, Needle & Thread and a new baby collection!  Plus, new Beyond the Page alterable items and wooden flourishes.

Plus, there are a couple new collections, including 8x8 pads, from Authentique - love them!

We're also working on getting new custom school and sports papers in the computer, along with a restock on our travel papers.

April Challenge Featuring Fancy Pants

Michele here on the blog today to share a layout using Fancy Pants Park Bench.  And what a coincidence that this months challenge at Scrappy Chic is to create a page or project featuring Fancy Pants products.

 



I also FUSSY CUT, layered and splattered on this layout.  Other products used:  Doodlebug washi tape, Jillibean words, DieNamic chevron die, Stickles yellow.

 

Aren't these colors just gorgeous?!?

 

And look how well the Doodlebug washi tape matches!!

Another Round of New, New, New!

 I didn't think we could get more cool new products. But as sure as it's chilly out, there are still new items rolling in. Here's what's come in this week...

Round 2

I tell ya', the UPS and FedEx guys are usually a delight to see. But the last few days they've been here daily, and each with large deliveries. We keep digging out from underneath the boxes, but those guys are relentless! No, really, we do love what they're delivering - A whole pile of scrapbooking goodness, like...

• Prima - Lyric and Lady Bird collections, with amazing embellishments to match
• K & Co. - new floral papers and embellishments (think Spring!)

• Reminisce - Elements and Ombre collections
• My Favorite Things - new Die-Namics dies and coordinating stamp sets
• Carta Bella - Cool Summer collection (although we're hoping for a warm one)
• Doodlebug - amazing Value Packs with $50 in merchandise for only $19.99!
• Imaginisce - Endless Summer collection (again, wishful thinking for those of us in MI)
• Unity Stamps - new sets from Donna Downey, new Itty Bitties and more!

Those who were cropping today probably got a glimpse of how we're pulling out all of the stops to get this merchandise in... Even my husband learned how to enter new stock in the computer tonight! It's a family affair, after all. We hope you'll join our family in helping move some products off the shelves so we have room for the rest of the new goods. Seriously - there are at least 10 more collections we still need to enter, and I think there's something for everyone. See you soon!

Overdue Update

I've been a bit of a slacker on the blog, I must admit.  So I'd like to catch up...  Here's what's out on the shelf this week:
