What's New This Week?

I feel like I've been a bit lax in my blogging, but the Black Friday weekend just kept us busy.  We were so happy to see so many customers showing their support for Small Business Saturday - what a great turnout!  But on to important business... what's new?!  We have the long-awaited Christmas line from October Afternoon, as well as their Farmhouse collection.  I love them both! 

We have a new themed series of papers and stickers from Reminisce (a little bit of this, a little bit of that).  There are also some additional new dies and embossing folders from Tim Holtz and Sizzix! 

On another note, we received some of our Black Friday promo items late (this always happens with something, right?) and they are on sale.  We have about 20 Cricut cartridges available at $19.99 each, some of which we've never carried before.  We also have an assortment of American Crafts patterned D-Ring 12x12 albums on sale for $13.99 (regularly $24.99).  There are a few of the promotional items left over from the weekend as well that we left out for our bargain-hunters (adhesives, Tim Holtz Configurations boxes, albums, trimmers, etc.).

Golden Ticket Winners Announced!

Sew Stamper is In!

Remember the Sew Easy tool, and how hard it was for us to keep them in stock?  Well, We R has done it again!  Introducing... the Sew Stamper Tool!  The stamping heads are interchangeable with the Sew Easy tool, but they stamp your sewn lines!  This tool makes faux sew (my fave) even easier! 

Have a Gathering!

Authentique's latest line, called Gathering, is just the right colors!  I love this Fall/Winter-inspired line, and can't wait to take some home for myself!  It's on the Authentique spinner for you to ogle next time you're in.

New Winter Twig from LYB!

Did you love the Twig line from Little Yellow Bicycle earlier this year?  It was one of our best-sellers!  Well, they must have received some great feedback on it, because they released Winter Twig!  Similar great colors, but with a winter twist!  I can't wait to get mine!

New Trend - Washi Tape

Sometimes new products or trends are introduced and they are just not my style (woodland animals?).... other times I catch on a go overboard (banners - you can never have enough!)... but this time I am just late to catch on. Washi tape seems to be everywhere I look these days!!

A about a month ago I was scrapping at the store and Angela talked me into some of the new Hanbly washi tape - and I am so glad she did!

I used jut a little of the brown wood grain tape here....

Then I layered the wood grain with the turquoise words under the title here...
Here I used to to add a pop of color behind a bunch of layering (pink pattern on the left)...

Have you seen the Trinket Case and Toolbox from Tim Holtz?  These cases are wonderful for either trinkets (hence the name) and inks & tools (fit in the larger size).  We have both sizes in stock.  These would make great holiday gifts, too (hint, hint!). 

Golden Ticket Giveaway is Underway

We had an amazing turnout yesterday for our Golden Ticket Giveaway!  There was a line of wonderful people before we even opened.  When I checked in last night, there were a few candy bars left, but not sure if there will be any left this morning.  We heard lots of hooting as people opened their treats to find the magical golden tickets.  Everyone got a deal and had fun saving some bucks. 

Did you happen to see the drawing for the FREE weekend to Otsego Club for a scrapbook getaway?  Customers can enter once per day until 11/13 for a chance to win an all-inclusive weekend to Scraptabulous 2012 or Encore 2012 in Gaylord, MI (love this place).  We'll draw the winner for this the same day as our Golden Ticket winners.  Stay tuned!

FabScraps is Shabby Chic!

FabScraps' newest collection is Shabby Chic, and it's right up our alley!  The muted blues and browns will go with any vintage project!  There are, again, die-cut paper flower pages, tags, papers, laser cut chipboard and more.

My Favorite is Here!

There were so many cool collections at CHA this past Summer.  But one stood out as a favorite for me, and it's finally here!  Part of We R Memory Keepers' exclusive independent retailer program, Vintage T is just what I need.  The papers remind me of the clothes my son wears... Think jeans, plaid shirts, tags, a little sporty and very faded.  I can't wait to take it home and use it (not just save it). :)

New from My Mind's Eye!

We have the new Funday Kraft collection from MME!  This amazing line is better than any patterned kraft line I've seen!  Fun, fun, fun!  It's all checked in; we just need to make room for it on the shelves.  Soon, I promise!
