Fall in Love with New Crate Paper

Crate's newest line, the Paper Heart Collection, is in stock and ready to ooh and ahh over.  It's hard for me to imagine what I'm going to do for Valentine's Day since it's not even the end of the year yet.  But seeing all of these adorable papers gives me inspiration!

Hero Arts Debut!

We held our Hero Arts Debut this past weekend, and the stamps in this release are amazing!  We had demos using the new stamps, and their on display for you to check out!  If you don't see one of the new stamps you want from this release (or if it sold out quickly), please let us know so we can order it for you.

It's Official!

Those who stopped in today already know, but I can spill the beans now.  Scrappy Chic has expanded!  We have moved up into the unit closest to 8 Mile, and are working hard to get most of it done by the weekend.  We've spent the past two days (with a crew of almost 20 each day) packing, stacking, moving and then doing just the opposite again.  Aside from a couple snags with shelving and building, we're moving along nicely.  We can't wait to share our finished product with you!  So, as I mentioned before, if you stop in before next week, please excuse our dust.  We think you'll like what's in store.  See you soon!

Here's a little video with a final hint.  If you can't tell what's going on from the video, you'll just have to stop in and see for yourself!  Now, I have one word of caution for those of you who plan on stopping in tomorrow (Wednesday)...  We're not done yet!  So please excuse our dust and disorganization while we finish our surprise.  We plan on wrapping up the remainder of the work we have going on by the end of the weekend.  So exciting!

We're Carrying a New Line of Markers!

Are you a fan of Copic markers, but don't want to shell out the big bucks?  How about those of you who want to learn about coloring with stamping, but don't want to get in too deep?  We are now carrying the Le Plume series of markers from Uchida.  These are brush-tip, permanent alcohol markers that cost just $2.99 each!  Copics are great, too, but the Le Plume markers are a great way to practice and get started with this fun part of paper crafting.  There are about 60 colors in stock... Enjoy!

New Cricut Cartridges

We've received a few new Cricut cartridges recently, so I thought I should share!  We have the latest, Ribbons & Rosettes in stock, as well as New Testament, the Stencil Project cartridge, as well as several other seasonal cartridges (a few we didn't previously have access to).  I can't wait to see what our customers make with the Ribbons & Rosettes cartridge!

We love Maya Rd., and this latest release doesn't disappoint!  There are new trinket pins, kraft die-cuts (including clocks and tickets), chipboard shapes, and more!  There's even a Baker's Dozen 12-month calendar kit using the Mega Bottlecaps!  Plus, you won't want to miss out on the new tulle trim in hot pink and gray.  It's all out and ready to share.

What's New This Week?

I feel like I've been a bit lax in my blogging, but the Black Friday weekend just kept us busy.  We were so happy to see so many customers showing their support for Small Business Saturday - what a great turnout!  But on to important business... what's new?!  We have the long-awaited Christmas line from October Afternoon, as well as their Farmhouse collection.  I love them both! 

We have a new themed series of papers and stickers from Reminisce (a little bit of this, a little bit of that).  There are also some additional new dies and embossing folders from Tim Holtz and Sizzix! 

On another note, we received some of our Black Friday promo items late (this always happens with something, right?) and they are on sale.  We have about 20 Cricut cartridges available at $19.99 each, some of which we've never carried before.  We also have an assortment of American Crafts patterned D-Ring 12x12 albums on sale for $13.99 (regularly $24.99).  There are a few of the promotional items left over from the weekend as well that we left out for our bargain-hunters (adhesives, Tim Holtz Configurations boxes, albums, trimmers, etc.).

Sew Stamper is In!

Remember the Sew Easy tool, and how hard it was for us to keep them in stock?  Well, We R has done it again!  Introducing... the Sew Stamper Tool!  The stamping heads are interchangeable with the Sew Easy tool, but they stamp your sewn lines!  This tool makes faux sew (my fave) even easier!

Authentique's latest line, called Gathering, is just the right colors!  I love this Fall/Winter-inspired line, and can't wait to take some home for myself!  It's on the Authentique spinner for you to ogle next time you're in.

New Winter Twig from LYB!

Did you love the Twig line from Little Yellow Bicycle earlier this year?  It was one of our best-sellers!  Well, they must have received some great feedback on it, because they released Winter Twig!  Similar great colors, but with a winter twist!  I can't wait to get mine!

New Trend - Washi Tape

Sometimes new products or trends are introduced and they are just not my style (woodland animals?).... other times I catch on a go overboard (banners - you can never have enough!)... but this time I am just late to catch on. Washi tape seems to be everywhere I look these days!!

A about a month ago I was scrapping at the store and Angela talked me into some of the new Hanbly washi tape - and I am so glad she did!

I used jut a little of the brown wood grain tape here....

Then I layered the wood grain with the turquoise words under the title here...
Here I used to to add a pop of color behind a bunch of layering (pink pattern on the left)...

Have you seen the Trinket Case and Toolbox from Tim Holtz?  These cases are wonderful for either trinkets (hence the name) and inks & tools (fit in the larger size).  We have both sizes in stock.  These would make great holiday gifts, too (hint, hint!). 

Golden Ticket Giveaway is Underway

We had an amazing turnout yesterday for our Golden Ticket Giveaway!  There was a line of wonderful people before we even opened.  When I checked in last night, there were a few candy bars left, but not sure if there will be any left this morning.  We heard lots of hooting as people opened their treats to find the magical golden tickets.  Everyone got a deal and had fun saving some bucks.

FabScraps is Shabby Chic!

FabScraps' newest collection is Shabby Chic, and it's right up our alley!  The muted blues and browns will go with any vintage project!  There are, again, die-cut paper flower pages, tags, papers, laser cut chipboard and more.

My Favorite is Here!

There were so many cool collections at CHA this past Summer.  But one stood out as a favorite for me, and it's finally here!  Part of We R Memory Keepers' exclusive independent retailer program, Vintage T is just what I need.  The papers remind me of the clothes my son wears... Think jeans, plaid shirts, tags, a little sporty and very faded.  I can't wait to take it home and use it (not just save it). :)

We finally got all of the new Prima flowers and embellishments out! There are tons of beautifully designed flowers - so many I want to take them all! District Market by Tim Holtz

Have you seen Tim's finished product line, called District Market? We received a sampling of the products already (the finished canvases), but we now have the rest! The tote bags are my favorite, and there are matchbook notebooks, journals, notecards, etc. We also have a couple new Idea-ology products, like the tissue wrap and birdcages. This stuff is not only fun, but would make great gifts as well!

We have the latest from American Crafts, a masculine line named Chap! I know once this goes out on the shelf, I'll be picking some up for my son's pages. Of course, there are some great embellishments and new Thickers to go with it!
