As we mentioned, we're making a few changes around the store. So starting tomorrow, Wed 6/1, we're kicking the month off with a sale! Take 25% ALL beading supplies! That includes our Pandora-style beads, Blue Moon trinkets, strands of beads, Beadalon components, even sterling silver findings! You name it - if it's a beading product, it's on sale. We won't be reordering most of these items, so get it on sale while it's here.
We don't want to scare anyone... We still plan on carrying trinkets to use for mixed media projects. We just won't be carrying the variety of beading and jewelry-making products after the inventory is gone. We'll continue to carry a variety of interesting components we think you'll love, and hope to see you all soon!

New Tim Holtz (yes, again)!
We have more Sizzix dies from Tim Holtz in stock. But that's not all... There are some AMAZING floral dies from Sizzix that arrived as well. I love the fluffy tissue flower sample on one of the dies - you just have to see these to get the full effect. We even picked up a couple Art Parts from Wendy Vecchi - in stock now. We also received a new shipment from Art Gone Wild Today, which includes Stamper's Anonymous stamps, Darcie's, and more. These new sets and wood-mount stamps are amazing!
Ready for the 4th? How about a trip to DC?

Some Catch-Up is in Order
Wow! I've been busy and under the weather (and not enjoying this weather, either), and I'm a bit overdue on sharing what's new. Here's what we've received in the last week or so.
We have the new line from SEI, A Fair Day (think carnival). It's adorable and makes me long for warm summer nights at the local fair. We also have the new Haven collection from Jenni Bowlin. You'll notice the papers are heavier than in the past, and there's a new color scheme in this line. It's still very vintage, though. The new Happy Campers line arrived from Imaginisce. This one is totally adorable! I think I'll be using some of this for our family camping pages.

Have you Heard of Simple Stories?
Oh, the Boxes...
Before Mega Meet, we had quite the collection of boxes in the foyer in preparation. But even after the show, we continue to receive boxes and boxes of new products. We received a huge order from American Crafts, and we're now stocked up on AC albums. We also have some new Thickers, awesome shed-free glitter paper and other products from their Summer collections.
We also received an assortment of Sizzix dies and embossing folders, many from Tim Holtz' collection! These should be checked in by tomorrow for you all to check out!

What's Here?
We mentioned we had some new lines at Mega Meet... Well, they're finally back at the store and checked in! We have the new line from 7 Gypsies, Mykonos, as well as several new embellishments which are flying off the shelves. The book knobs are so cool, and the hooks and studs can be used for so many projects.
We also have the new Cosmo Cricket, Odds & Ends. They've changed up their format a little bit, and we really love the style of this new line. Check it out next time you're in... We think you'll love it, too.

Mega Meet Follow-Up
First of all, thanks go out to everyone who helped make our Mega Meet booth fly, and to those who came out to visit us! We had a great time despite the hard work it takes to make this happen. There were lots of moving parts that all had to work flawlessly for this to be perfect. Of course, that never happens. So we had some fun bumps along the way. It was fun showing everyone how to use Glubers, too! See you next year, Mega Meet!
We were fortunate to have Jenni Bowlin visit Scrappy Chic on Friday night after Mega Meet! Jenni and Jared are two of the most down-to-earth people you'll meet. Our customers had a great time chatting with them and learning some cool techniques. What a great visit!

Basic Grey is Out of the Box
We just received Hello Luscious and Sweet Threads from Basic Grey! This next round of papers and embellishments from one of our favorite manufacturers doesn't disappoint! Cindy was working on it this evening, and it should be out some time tomorrow. You'll be able to catch a glimpse of it (and take some home) if you stop in this weekend!

Mega Meet Sneak Peak
Hi Ladies. Well, the count down is on! Mega Meet is only a few days away and here at Scrappy Chic the piles are boxes are growing. And those of us on the Design Team are busy working on some new displays to send to the show. Do you remember the lovely Kaiser Craft Storage Box we had on display last year? It was amazing! So, when Chris asked us to make some new ones for this year, I was a bit intimidated. But the DT is all about challenges, so I gave it a shot. I used the new, bright Kaiser Craft paper and got a very young, cheery result. It was SO easy! A bit of paint and some glue is all it takes. The possibilities are endless - can you imagine a fishing theme for Father's Day? And, as you know, I cannot throw a scrap of paper away, so I made a little bouquet of paper flowers with the left overs. On a dreary weekend, I thought the results were very pleasant. Hope to see you all at the store or at our booth at MM this week. Cannot wait!
