We just received a cool new shipment of dies and more from Sizzix... We have the new Big Shot machine! This new machine has a stylish look, and works with most brands of dies and embossing folders. Speaking of folders, we also got some new Sizzix folders designed by Karen Burniston, along with her new dies. There are several new dies designed by Prima as well... Super cool flowers, butterflies and tags!

Weekend Update
I hope everyone's enjoying what's turning out to be a beautiful weekend! The girls put out a few new items this week...
KaiserCraft has two new collections, as well as some new wooden home decor products. Miss Empire is beautiful, and True Romance is a great wedding-themed collection. We also have the new High Impact Mixed Media metallic paints from Tattered Angels - look for them in the ink aisle!
There are also new chipboard shapes, acrylic stamps and ribbons from Maya Road; out on the shelves now. And I can't forget the ever unusual papers from FabScraps - Baby Bears and Milkshake Chic - these are two unique paper collections!
Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Your Project Life
Hi Everyone,
I'd just like to take a minute to chat about something big. I listen to what our customers ask for, and I do my best to carry what you want. After all, I want to sell you something, why not make it the right thing?! When Becky Higgins announced that her Project Life merchandise would now be available for sale in stores (instead of just online), we heard you - a lot. We had so many customers ask if we'd be carrying her products.
Well, we didn't hesititate and we ordered it all. This is a very big commitment for an independent retailer. We're excited to be one of only two independent stores in MI carrying the full line. I know, you've seen her products at some of the big box stores already. We know they get priority when it comes to things like this. But what I'm asking is, since we've ordered the full shebang for our customers, that you keep that in mind when making your purchasing decisions. We really do love ordering what we know you want. But to commit to something this large (it will take up a full wall in the album section of the store), we sure hope our customers who have asked us to carry it don't decide to purchase it elsewhere.
So, I'll step down from my soap box now. What I really want to mention is that we're very excited to be carrying something like this, and we hope you'll tell your friends who aren't yet into scrapbooking about it. It's so easy, and anyone can do it (even those who say they aren't creative). I have been told that our order is scheduled to ship out next week, so we expect it by early June. I know that sounds far away but, really, it's not. :) We have some samples set up in our foyer at the store in case you want to check them out. Angela, from our design team, has also been using these products for a while, and has pages hanging in the store, as well. Plus, here's a link to Becky's website with a short video explaining Project Life for those who aren't as familiar with it (www.BeckyHiggins.com).
I love our customers, and I know you do your part to keep us in business... We appreciate it. :)
Sincerely,
Chris

I miss you...
We've got a couple cool new classes coming up too... Keep an eye out for our newsletter later this weekend!
A couple new collections from Echo Park came in - Here & Now, Happy Camper, and a new Photo Freedom collection using the Transatlantique collection from Graphic 45!
If Blogger could speak to me, that's what it would say. We've been busy settling back in after Mega Meet, and I've been catching up with my family. While that was going on, we've still been getting deliveries.
There are 5 styles of Pure Mistable Papers from Tattered Angels just in! You could use any of your favorite sprays (or stains, inks, you name it) on them to create backgrounds like no other. We also have the new Stamp Your Story sets from Hero Arts, but they are available in limited quantities from the manufacturer right now and are going fast! Farm House has a new collection as well, Country Kitchen, that's on the shelf already.

Fun in the Sun
So last month I was
given the most adorable paper EVER in my monthly kit for http://www.scrappychiclivonia.com/ let
me just tell you this paper is totally right for me and my photos of my little
girl. Just bright, fun and all things girly.
I used the Cool
Summer collection (Have I told you how much I LOVE this paper????) I have loved
it so much I've bought 3 complete paper packs and the extra sheets.
I love this photo of
my daughter running through the sprinkler/hose at grandma's house. She was just
really playing around and I snapped these photos I think the paper and colors
are perfect.
I love the fun polka
dots.
I made a cute little
sunburst design.
I added the sticker
embellishment from the sticker sheet.
The Title - was
welded using my gypsy from Billionaire and Something to Remember cricut
cartridge.
The pretty yellow
ribbon goes perfectly w/ the colors and it is from Maya Road.
If you are ever near
SE MI I highly recommend stopping by Scrappy Chic - the customer service is top
notch and the selection is FANTASTIC.
Have a GREAT day and Happy National Scrapbooking day.
Happy Scrappin
