Making Memories is Spooky

Their new line, Spook Alley, is in! Technically, it's in the computer, but it's not on the shelf yet. We're working on that one, but I have to say - you won't be disappointed. This is one of their best Halloween lines yet. They've added mixed media booklets to their list of new products, as well as mixed embellishment packs.

Plus, we have the two newest Slice Design cards featuring the new MS+ features! You can now create shadows and mirror images of your designs! We have the Spook Alley and Mix & Mingle Design Cards in stock now! We also have one of the new Pink Slice machines for you to check out while you're here.

Crafty Secrets is in!

Crafty Secrets arrived, with several new products including the Vintage Postcard Kits! Those who are fans of CS will love them! Totally vintage, and totally adorable! There are four styles to choose from - Baby Boy, Baby Girl, Best Buds & Christmas.

All New American Crafts!

There is tons to share with this one... there's the Junior line, which I love! It's all about sports & boys. There's the Merrymint line, which is their newest holiday line, as well as Blue Skies (adorable, of course). And the best part is - there are new Thickers for each line (I think there are 6 new styles in various colors)! There are so many, we're going to have to do a little rearranging (aka clearance) of the other Thickers to make room for them in the alpha stickers!

Order Up!

How about some Jillibean Soup? We have the new lines in, including the Talk Kraft paper, Soup Staples, new Journaling Sprouts, Holiday paper and more! The lines are in our branded section - just ask if you need help finding your way to these adorable staples!

I can't keep up!

Seriously (said with a Grey's Anatomy tone) - we can't get over how many boxes have arrived already this week! We received all the new papers and embellishments from Karen Foster Design (including some really cool Sparkle Burst Brads in new colors). There are some nice calendars and other 'project' sets you can create!

The new QuicKutz Fall/Thanksgiving dies arrived, including the Harvest alphabet. This was a favorite at our CHA Preview Party earlier this month.

I also saw boxes waiting to be put out from American Crafts, Crafty Secrets, and more! As always, I'll keep you posted here on our blog!

New Spellbinders Nestabilities Arrived!

These are amazing dies I think everyone with a manual die cutting machine will love and find useful! We're working on getting them all up on the wall this week. Katie and I loved them (and the samples they made) at CHA, and are excited to work with them (maybe a class in the works?).

Donations

We still have quite a few boxes of donations left over from the last yard sale. We donated a portion of the items to a local children's group. But there is a lot left! Here's what I'm looking for: A group who can use the supplies either for therapeutic or educational purposes. I need someone who can collect and deliver ALL of the boxes we have to donate, and provide a contact at the organization to verify receipt of the donations. If you know who meets this criteria, please let me know. I'd love to see the supplies go to good use.

We're having a blast!

I haven't blogged in a couple days since we've been so busy (in a good way). Suze arrived on Friday, and has been teaching and visiting since then. The girls in the class had a great time (and I took this photo off Suze's blog to show it). We took her to Royal Oak tonight for some sushi and shopping (so much fun). She'll be heading out tomorrow (after a quick visit to Ann Arbor), but hopefully she'll be back to visit us again! Find out more about her melt art adventures and more on her blog at http://suzeweinberg.typepad.com/.

Reminisce is in Abundance

We have several new lines from Reminisce, now being put out, including Autumn, Christmas, Safari, Travel and more! There are too many to even keep track of. We're working on finding room for them as we speak.

Forgot about SEI

This came in last week, and apparently I skimmed right over it! The two new lines, Moravia and Winter Song, from SEI are here. Moravia was one of my Mom's and Katie's favorites at CHA, and seems to be a winner with customers as well. I love Winter Song, with its soft blues and deep red for winter.

There's even more...

Yesterday we put out the new Maya Road products (awesome!) including mini albums, chipboard pieces, ribbon, flowers, Maya Mist (yes, a few colors to start with) and more! We also got the new wood albums & decor items from KaiserCraft, in addition to their new tropical paper line (flamingos... ooh).

We're still working on getting all of the new KI Memories goods in the computer, which include a baby and child line as well as their new Christmas release (yes, they're all thinking ahead). That's just what we got yesterday, so stay tuned to see what the rest of the week holds!

What's New this Weekend...

Here's the scoop: the new My Mind's Eye lines are ALL on the shelves now, including Abby Road (hooray!). Be sure to use your MME coupon from the newsletter for 25% off the older lines through the end of the month! We also put out the new Sharon Ann line, called Autumn Bliss, from Little Yellow Bicycle (gorgeous Fall stuff!).
Guess what else came in? Rock Candy! Not the kind you eat, of course, but the kind Tim Holtz is making! We have it in both Stickles and Crackle Paint. This stuff is great - put it on anything and watch it crack like broken glass - too cool. We also got a large shipment of other Ranger goodies, so we're stocked up for those of you taking Suze's class next weekend (still a few openings, hint hint).
Last but not least, I whipped out the box of new Town Square release from Jenni Bowlin, which is out to see now. I think I like her new embellishments best - there are new bingo cards for school and Halloween, large metallic rub-ons, new chipboard buttons, memo books (love these) as well as some adorable tiny alphas!

Updates...

We have some other new products we're working on getting out for this weekend. We have new templates from Crafter's Workshop in some adorable shapes! You can use these with ink, paint, sprays, for drawing and more!

We also received the missing pieces for our new Cosmo Cricket lines! We now have the chipboard and mini decks for the three new lines! We finally have Ooh La La, 2 Halloween and 2 Christmas lines on the shelf from My Mind's Eye (look in the seasonal section for those). We're still working on getting Abby Road out (it's a doozy), but should have it out this weekend. Katie is working on putting in the new Reminisce lines (tons) as we speak, and we're working through the rest of the new packages, like Ranger, SEI, Little Yellow Bicycle, and more! I'll keep you all posted!

I heard a rumor and it's true!

It's not good news, my friends... I just found out that Kokuyo, the company that makes my favorite adhesive, the Dot 'n' Roller, has discontinued them! This affects both the permanent and repositionable dispensers and refills. I've ordered a bunch from our distributor, who still has some in their warehouse, but they won't last long. If you'd like to stock up on any of the refills, please contact the store so we can add them to our order. There's no guarantee as to how many we can get, but I know some of you love this adhesive as much as I do, and would be bummed to not be able to get the refills any more. I'll be looking out for a good alternative, and hopefully we'll come across something similar soon.

New Glimmer Mist colors anyone?

We just received all of the new Tattered Angels products from the show! There are a bunch of new Limited Edition Glimmer Mist colors - awesome tones for Halloween and winter! There are also new Bingo cards (you'll love to spray these!) and there is more on the way, hopefully soon. We're very excited about the new kits we ordered as well.

New American Crafts Ribbons

We have two new assortments of $1.99 ribbon spools from American Crafts! There is a Fall and a Halloween selection, and they'are all adorable! Check them out at the counter next time you're in!

QuicKutz Halloween Dies

I think I forgot to mention we received the new Halloween dies from QuicKutz last week! These dies are amazing, and are surprisingly affordable! Some of the border dies are 12" long, like the Halloween title. There are 2x2s, larger dies, and borders, as well as the Haunted alphabet. Get 'em while they're here!

New Cuttlebug Embossing Folders are Here!

There are a ton of new embossing and combo folders just in... These folders work in multiple brands of die-cutting machines, and are amazing for making textured cards that pop! They are available in A2 sizes as well as borders.

Checking In

Wow, it's been 5 days since I blogged last - seems like an eternity! I've been without power until this evening thanks to that quick storm yesterday. It's amazing how out-of-touch we feel without our computers! We've had so many deliveries over the last week that it's getting hard to keep up! We're still working on getting the My Mind's Eye and a couple others into the computer (those are always doozies). In the meantime, there were at least 4 or 5 more new shipments that arrived today alone! I know one, in particular, is on many of our customers' own wish lists... Graphic 45! The three new lines are Domestic Goddess, Renaissance Faire & Christmas Past. I think Katie was pressured into putting those papers ahead of the line, so they may be out already tomorrow morning.

I'll be blogging about the other boxes tomorrow (I did read some of the tags, like Little Yellow Bicycle, SEI, etc.). Stay tuned!

A Batch of Products from CHA Arrived Today!

There were tons of boxes, I can tell you that much. We have all six new lines from My Mind's Eye, who is our featured manufacturer this month! There is Abbey Road (my favorite), Ooh La La, two Holiday lines and two Halloween lines!

We also just received the newest Thickers (we love these) and Halloween line from American Crafts! These are great versatile spooky papers!
We also have the new Spooky Town and Polar Expressions lines from Imaginisce - still in the boxes so far.

Last, but not least, we have the new Tim Holtz and Wendy Vecchi stamps from Stamper's Anonymous! We have some cling mount and wood-mount - all amazing (although we think the circus clowns are a little creepy).

Another New Travel Line?

The Paper Company released a series of travel papers and embellishments, and they are gorgeous! Really, a cross between world travel and time travel - use for photos old and new!

Cosmo Cricket is here! Woohoo!

We're excited! You may have noticed we love Cosmo Cricket products. The three new lines arrived today. We have The Boyfriend, Jolly By Golly and Earth Love. All three are adorable (as usual) and should be out on the shelf soon!
