Wanted: 1-2 Scrapbook League Members

We have a couple ladies who will be on the Saturday (bi-weekly) scrapbook league which starts this week. Teams are normally made up of 4 members, so we're hoping maybe one or two of you were thinking of joining! The league is a great way to crank out the pages (seriously) and try new things. The Saturday league meets every other saturday (5 meets all together), and is from 10am to 3pm. You get lunch & a drink, 10% off your purchases, a banquet at the end and there's even a 50/50 raffle! We hope you'll consider joining - there's still time! Just call the store to sign up.

Nestabilities are in

The new ones, that is! We received over 10 new styles of Nestabilities dies this week, and I'm putting them in the computer as I type! These are great dies that work with other systems like the Cuttlebug. The best part is they nest (and the edges emboss) - how fun!

New paper and embellishments from We R Memory Keepers are in!

Mary, Erin and I fell in love with a bunch of these when we were looking through catalogs back in January, and they're finally here! I don't know yet if all of the pieces have arrived, but what I've seen so far is just as good in person, if not better, than we expected! There are a few lines, like Tiffany's and MVP - I think you'll love them, too!

What a sale!

First of all, my apologies go out to those who waited in line longer than expected. We had a record turnout for the Yard Sale today - there were more shoppers than ever! I didn't see it, but I was told the line went around the end of the building! Hopefully you all found so many deals it was worth the wait. We'll plan for another yard sale in the next few months. The staff should be recovered by then. :)

The Yard Sale is Here!

I'm excited and anxious all at once for the Yard Sale tomorrow. Yes, it's just as big of a thrill for me as it is for the sellers and shoppers! It's amazing how many bargains there are. We have quite a few sellers this time and the sale was advertised in 15 papers and online. We'll see which of you make it out... As always, we've tweaked the room a bit since the last sale. We now have the addition, which will make more room for large items (hooray).

Until then...

KI and more

We had a few deliveries on Friday including new (adorable) papers from KI Memories. There are pet, boy, party and travel papers.

We're still working on getting the Making Memories Just Chillin' lines out - apparently there's one more box arriving on Monday! We also got another shipment of the new Ranger Alcohol Ink colors - brights & lights! Hopefully they'll last longer than a couple days this time so you can all get your hands on some.

New Making Memories and More!

We have several boxes piling up which we should have all out by this weekend. Making Memories' new lines, Just Chillin' (boy and girl line), arrived today, and I can't wait to see them out! I really didn't get a good look at the details when I ordered it; I just knew it was too cool to pass up.

We finally got the YuDu personal screenprinting machines from ProvoCraft. I'm looking foward to learning how to use it and getting some custom shirts going!

We also received the new Provence collection, along with several other new papers, from GCD Studios (new company for us). These papers are beautiful, and would make wonderful European travel pages! They also offer a range of colors in alpha stickers and rubons - all in stock!

New Products this week

We finally got Cosmo Cricket - hooray!! Their new lines are gorgeous, and I'm so excited. Everafter is their new, unique wedding line, Lil' Man is just too cute, Snorkel is a beach-y summer line, and Girl Friday is just that - all girl (and possibly my favorite). Did you know we'll be representing Cosmo Cricket at Mega Meet this year?
New K & Co. also arrived yesterday. We have Wild Raspberry albums and two new paper lines. Citronella is perfect for Summer, and their new Happy Trails extension is all about travel - adorable!

I almost forgot to mention we received the new products we ordered from Hambly! I know a few of you who will be super excited to see these! We also just received the new Calligraphy Cricut cartridge, and it's now available for rent or purchase. It's a full font cartridge!

Graphic 45...

Is restocked! Sorry, didn't mean to tease you, but the Transatlantic line isn't in yet. However, we've restocked the missing papers from the Fashionista and Communique lines - gorgeous vintage papers! Get 'em while they're here!

It's been too long...

Since my last post! Sorry about that... it's not that we haven't recieved anything new, it's just that I've been busy with 5-year-old birthday stuff. So here we have it:

American Crafts new acrylic stamp sets are here, and they're only $6-10 per set! We also have a few new lines from Creative Imaginations, including a French fashion line from Samatha Walker, travel, music lines and more! Melissa Frances vintage papers are here... unfortunately we didn't receive the whole line yet (the rest is amazing), but you can stock up on the die-cut vintage papers while they're here. We have more stacks (including a flocked baby line) and kits from Me & My Big Ideas. For those of you who liked the inexpensive 12x12 Protect N Store containers, you'll be happy to know we've brought them back.

Tim Holtz, Heidi Swapp & Cropper Hopper are Here!

They all decided to join us... The new Tim Holtz mini masks, metal hardware and stickers are in! The new Grungepaper was here, but only briefly (it was gone the first day - I've already reordered more). Heidi Swapp brings us new Invisibles paper, chipboard and alpha stickers - you'll have to check out the sample I made - the possibilities are endless with this stuff! We also have her new Mega Masks (great for large scale projects like 12x12 pages). Cropper Hopper came out with some great ideas this time around! Their new storage racks are perfect for paint dabbers, acrylic paints, stamp ink pads and more.

Wow, even more new stuff today!

We had quite a few deliveries today - so much so that we're getting to know our FedEx and UPS drivers well! We received about 6 boxes from Die Cuts with a View. We got a few new styles of Stacks, but what I really love is their new open stock papers - so whimsy! There's a Green line that's all about the outdoors (even one with an adorable skunk). There are a ton of kitchen and baking papers - even with glitter - that are adorable as well.

There's also a box from Queen & Co., which means we have new felt borders (I haven't seen them since the show in January, and they were so fun)! We have new specialty papers from Paper Company, as well as new theme papers from Paper Adventures (beach, birthday, graduation and more).
I really love the new Que Sera Sera line from K & Co., which just arrived today as well. If you liked the Mira line from Brenda Walton, you will not be disappointed with this new one. This should all be out before the weekend!

Cricut Create is now in stock

We have the Cricut Create Machines in stock, as well as the new Sports Mania cartridge. There are several new colors of vinyl available as well. The Cricut Create has many of the features the larger Expression machine has, but is the size of the original Cricut. The price of the Create is $229.99, but Cricut Club members can purchase the machine for $219.99.

Roger, Ranger!

Yes, new Ranger products have arrived! We have all of the Claudine Hellmuth Studio paints, Gesso and more. We also have the full line of colors in Ultra Thick Embossing Powder. Add to that ALL of the new Ranger Alcohol Inks (lights and brights) and you've got an amazing selection! We also added the melt art line from Suze Weinberg for you adventurous crafters! Unfortunately, the blending pens didn't come in yet (we're patiently waiting), but we'll let you know when those arrive.

Photos from the Overnighter

I now have photos for you to see who made it through the wee hours of the morning at the Overnight Crop! Our two 5:30am prize winners each left with a tote!

I especially like how Marrisa included the clock in the 6am photo. Way to go girls!

New Making Memories

We received a few things from Making Memories today, including the new Wedding Design Card for the Slice, the new Storage Shelf (beautiful) and Wooden Desktop Organizer.

Overnight Crop was a hit!

Ok, here are the stats from this Saturday's Overnight Crop!

Croppers on board: 45
Prizes given away: 15 (5:30am prizes were worth up to $30 each)
Pounds of meat Chris made for midnight nachos: 5 (could've made more)
Croppers left after 2am: 31 (I left shortly after that)
Croppers who stuck it out until the 5:30am drawing: 15
Die-hard croppers who closed up shop at 6am: 5

We were ready with a camera in case someone fell asleep at the crop, but it didn't happen. Marrisa took some photos later in the morning, but hasn't emailed them to me yet (she deserved to sleep in VERY late today along with the rest of you who stuck it out). As soon as I have pictures, I'll post them here and/or on our website. Hopefully everyone made it home safely and accomplished a lot at the end of this gruelling 14-hour overnighter! You'll have to let me know if you'd like to see another one of these on our calendar.
