We just received October Afternoon's two latest collections! Midway is adorable - I love the photo booth paper. Witch Hazel is here just in time for Halloween, and the little vintage witchies are the cutest! It'll hopefully be on the shelf by Tuesday afternoon.

Some Sad News

It's with great sadness that I share this news with our followers.  Many of you know and appreciate the work shared by Fawn Stager, one of our instructors and former Design Team member.  Fawn unexpectedly passed away in her sleep earlier this week.  We are deeply sorry, as Fawn was more than someone who worked with us; she was a friend and an amazing, creative woman.  She was very close with her family, especially her two daughters, who we've seen throughout all of her projects.  Fawn will be missed by all, and we send our sincerest condolences to her family and  friends.

Triangles next!

If you haven't yet tried making scrapbook pages with a 6x6 paper pad, join us for this class focusing on cute triangles. They make neat flowers, stars, and pennants. So quick and easy! On Wednesday October 10 from 6-9 we'll make 4 quick 12x12 pages for just $24. And best of all, you get to choose your own paper pad. Once you get started, you won't be able to stop! We'd love to have you join our little group on Wednesday evenings. Hope to see you soon!

Just In: Graphic 45

As I was leaving the store this evening, I noticed the girls had been working on getting the new collections from Graphic 45 in the system!  We now have Bird Song, which is an Asian-themed line, as well as Nutcracker Sweet, in stock.  They should be on the shelf by Wednesday afternoon for you to ogle

Back to School with LYB

Little Yellow Bicycle's latest collection, Makin' the Grade, is here just in time for those back to school photos.  I, too, was a crazy Mom today with my camera.  The kids should be used to it by now, right?  Check this adorable collection out next time you're in.

Happy Labor Day Weekend

We're looking forward to the weekend.  For me, it means spending time with friends and family (we stick around town).  It's the last hoorah before we embark on a new school year full of adventure.  I hope the weather holds out for us.  Keep in mind, the store will be closed on Monday in order for everyone to celebrate and have a day off.  But we'll be open regular business hours before and after Monday.

So here's to a great weekend, and a great start to the school year.  Here's a picture of a project that Karen, from our Design Team, put together.  What a cute idea!
