Overstock items listed on eBay

I've posted a few (about 20) listings on eBay for some overstock and other items at prices below wholesale! It's somewhat of an experiment for the store, so we'll see how it goes. Any customers who are interested in the items should bid on them through eBay. If one of our local customers wins the auction, you can pick up the items from the store without paying any shipping costs! To find our items, go to eBay.com. Then, click Advanced Search (next to the regular search box). Scroll down to find Sellers, then click the box and type minicholsons in the seller field. This should bring up our listings, and you can bid away! But remember, these listings are only open for about a week, so act quickly.

Love Paper and Love OF Paper!

We have the new Sweet Love collection from Little Yellow Bicycle - it's adorable! We're working on getting this 'love'ly paper in for the weekend.


We also received a little surprise this week... we have the two new lines from Basic Grey!!! Origins and Sugar Rush are being added to the computer as you read! I made room on the shelf for them, so hopefully they'll be there tonight. Now you can dream of Origins and with Sugar Rush dancing in your head!

We finally got October Afternoon!

We've had a couple pieces of the new Very Merry line from October Afternoon, but finally got the rest of the papers and stickers today. I couldn't wait! So for those of you who are as impatient as me about this one, you can now relax (and get here, of course)!

New Riff Raff Release & American Crafts

We've got the new winter laser-cut chipboard shapes from Riff Raff in stock! These things are amazing - you can paint them, spritz them with Glimmer Mist, ink them, Glossy Accents or Crackle Paint them, whatever! The winter shapes are adorable, and are a must-have for your holiday or winter projects.


We were also excited to see the rest of the American Crafts LetterBox line arrive. We had received a couple embellishments and Thickers, but the rest is here! The papers are adorable, and the lace ribbon divine!

We also just received the January '10 issue of Creating Keepsakes, as well as the newest issue of Altered Couture magazine.

Guys' Night Reminder!

Ok shoppers, remember that tomorrow, Tues 12/15, is our Guys' Night Shopping event. This is your opportunity to send your non-scrapbooking gift-givers in for a little extra help. We don't judge! If you created a wish list, we'll have it on file for them to peruse (we'll even show them where the items are at). If not, you can print one from here. We'll have coffee and friendly advice on hand. This isn't just for the guys either. Does your mother-in-law, co-worker, or even your children need to pick something out for you? We've got you covered! If all else fails, we'll suggest a gift card! The event runs from 4-8pm, but we offer extra shopping assistance every day!

Great deals are abound in the store right now! We've got tons of pink stars throughout the store (I mean tons)! Each item with a star is part of the sale, which will 'progress' as follows:

12/19-12/24/09 - everything starred is 30% off!
Lastly, 12/26-12/27 - all starred items go up to 40% off! Yes, that's 40% off tons of items throughout the store!

As part of the progressive sale, not only will the discount go up and up, so will the amount of items on sale! Each week I'll be adding more items to the sale. Seriously - you won't believe how many items will be on sale - up to 40% off by the 26th! But don't wait - the discount is only valid on in-stock items, so once they're out, the discount stops on that item! Hope to see you saving some holiday dough!

Adopted Family Update

Alright, ladies... we are making great progress on donations for our adopted family, but we only have a couple days left! If you are planning on donating, but aren't sure what to donate, here are some suggestions that we are still lacking:

Winter coats, boots for both
Boys' gloves, hat
Age-appropriate toys

New QK and Cricut goods are in!

We just received the new Elmo's Party cartridge for the Cricut! We've been waiting for this one for a while, so it's exciting to finally have it in stock. Also, we have been informed by ProvoCraft that the limited edition winter mini cartridges are out of stock. We have one snowflake cartridge left in stock at only $19.99!

QuicKutz fans - we also received the remainder of our new dies. There is an adorable cupcake holder, as well as the new Calendar set. Perfect for holiday gift-giving whether you're gifting the dies or using them to make your own gifts!

Travelers Delight

Many of you have been asking for hard-to-find travel paper and stickers, so we've got some news for you. We just added (or should I say are still adding because there are so many) over 70 destinations to our travel section! Reminisce just released a line of double-sided papers and sticker sheets with destinations from nearby to across the world! I don't know where we'll be putting this plethora of paper, but I'm amazed at the quantity of destinations included in this collection! Call or stop in to see if we've got your travel destination.
